He obtained a vast experience in the care of the elite athlete, with a wide spectrum from professional to recreational levels, both on and off the field. After completing this fellowship, he pursued additional training in hip preservation surgery with an emphasis on hip arthroscopy and treatment of athletic hip injuries at the American Hip Institute in Chicago, Illinois. During this fellowship, he had the opportunity to become actively involved in clinical research and has published numerous articles on hip arthroscopy to multiple peer review journals in Orthopaedics.
Dr. Lodhia has been an invited speaker and instructor at multiple national and international conferences and courses. He has been privileged to be an assistant team physician for the NFL Texans, NBA Rockets, and the MLB Astros among other professional sports organizations.
