Dr. Moola graduated from Medical School at the University of Saskatchewan and then completed his Orthopaedic Surgery residency at McGill University In 2003. He achieved fellowship training In Shoulder Arthroscopy at the University of Toronto In 2004 and in Hand and Upper Extremity surgery at Baytor College of Medicine In Houston, Texas in 2005. This training has provided a subspecialty expertise in orthopaedic disorders of the shoulder, elbow, wrist and hand.

Dr. Moola Is a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada. He is an active member of the Canadian Orthopaedic Association, the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, the Canadian Joint Orthopaedic Initiative for National Trials of the Shoulder and the British Columbia Medical Association.

Dr. Moola is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Orthopaedics at the University of British Columbia. He is an active staff member of both the Royal Columbian and Eagle Ridge Hospitals where his surgical practice is based.

Dr. Moola has special interest in shoulder and elbow as well as hand and wrist surgery with a focus on arthroscopic repair, upper extremity joint replacement and trauma reconstruction.
