At the SRC you are not rushed. All appointments are a minimum of half an hour long and can be booked within 2 weeks. In complex cases you may need an hour for your appointment. A dictated report within 5 business days of the specialist's findings will be provided. Prices vary depending on complexity and the type of specialist being accessed. SRC specialists who see medically referred patients will do so only in their own public offices. The SRC can also book MRI's and CT scans in 1-2 days and where necessary approved third party surgeries immediately. For traveling patients the SRC can help you make all the consult and surgery arrangements in the same trip. The SRC can expedite specialist appointments for an independent medical assessment for personal use such as insurance, special license, routine physical or similar reasons. The SRC limits its services to those that are not covered by the government funded Medical Services Plan (MSP), and no re-imbursement of SRC fees will be provided by the MSP.
